The Surexpo trade show in Warsaw opened yesterday at the city's Centrum Expo XXI, with a 100-company display of fairly elaborate booths to show a defiant industry in face of some strong taxation proposals.
The attendance on the first day was said by some of the exhibitors to be a little down on last year, but the second of the three days - today - is thought to be the most likely for visitors.
AWPs dominated, not surprisingly, although there was the full range of support equipment on display as well. Exhibitors came from at least 10 countries, mainly in central Europe.
A full report of the show will appear in our November issue of InterGame which was - at least on day one - apparently the only international publication visiting and supporting its advertisers - not an unusual phenomenon this year!
