The venue opened in January, and KSAT.com reports that it features laser tag, mini-golf, karaoke, bumper cars, and more fringe leisure options such as roller-skating, promising an array of fun for families.

Owner of AR's Entertainment Hub, Archie Wright, said: “Empowered by a strong desire to offer families timeless entertainment and by the belief that fun is for all ages, AR’s Entertainment Hub is thrilled to offer our community a safe and fun environment to make memories with each another."

The continued trend of FECs with a retro twist is partly attributed to the newfound popularity for outdoors entertainment after the pandemic, and a wave of 80s-revivalist movies and films, such as Stranger Things, inspiring traditional competitive socialising.

AR's Entertainment Hub can be found in the Wonderland of Americas mall in San Antonio's Balcones Heights.
