A giant new indoor family roller coaster is on its way to a new theme park in Qatar.
Extreme Engineering’s suspended coaster, The Cloud, will form the centrepiece of a new park yet to be officially disclosed, said the company.
It will include a raised platform for queuing and is designed to be installed within the building’s infrastructure, reducing the need for roller coaster columns.
The US coaster-maker said that the Qatar indoor park will "ulitise a popular cartoon character." The track will be over 200m long with sudden drops, turns and uphill lifts. The construction method of the cars will enable guests as short as 40 inches to ride.
