America's Incredible Pizza owners, Rick and Cheryl Barsness, have won the 2010 Regional Entrepreneurial Success Award by the US Small Business Administration.
The award is given to a company that started out small, received SBA assistance along the way and has now grown beyond the SBA’s size standards for small.
Rick’s dream was to create a themed restaurant/FEC where families could spend time together, eat, play and have fun. Incredible Pizza opened in 2002 and there are now 18 locations across central/southwest US and Mexico, with 73 franchise locations.
Incredible Pizza has won numerous awards, including one of the top five Top Family Entertainment Centres of the World for 2008 and 2008 Best Place for a Kid’s Birthday Party. It has also been acknowledged twice in Inc magazine as the 456th fastest growing company in the US and 12th in top 100 Food and Beverage Companies with a 693 per cent growth.
