Open space improvement work has begun around the Waves amusement arcade in Prestatyn, North Wales.

Denbighshire County Council has posted on its Facebook page that the work will mean that access to the rear of the arcade will be restricted for a three-to-four-week period, with the temporary closure of parts of the play area and footpath.
The work is part of a project to regenerate several sites in the Vale of Clwyd after the region secured a £20m grant from the UK government’s Levelling Up Fund.
