Immersive Gamebox has signed almost £80m worth of franchise deals to expand its brand of immersive gaming across the globe.

The company has signed a number of deals to expand to over 250 venues over the next three years.

It has linked with Majid Al Futtaim Leisure in the UAE for two locations and 3F Entertainment in Germany for 34 locations. Imgair Ireland will open 50 Gameboxes in the country and there are other partnerships in Australia and Canada.

The venues feature technology including motion tracking, projection mapping and touch screens to deliver an immersive gaming experience for groups of players.

The brand has a number of licensed experiences including Squid Game from Netflix and Angry Birds.

Immersive Gamebox CEO and founder Will Dean said that he was delighted to sign the franchise deals with strong partners and that they will play a key part in making the brand global.

Newly appointed COO Lisa Paton said that she was excited to be joining the company and was looking forward to helping establish it across various markets.
