As the Euromat Summit opened this morning in Berlin, there was speculation that the leading manufacturers in Germany are in favour of a return for the IMA trade show in March 2019.

This follows the fallout from the current round of fresh legislation that is beginning to take effect across the country.
The show was suspended three years ago because of the threatened interstate treaty on gaming machines and arcades, which was thought would likely substantially reduce the industry in Germany.
There is no official confirmation of the speculation but it is believed that if it is re-established, then it will again be organised by Reed International’s German office and held once more in Dusseldorf.
