ICE has released one of the big hits from the IAAPA show onto the international market.

Shipwreck, a single player redemption game, will probably sell extremely well to the smaller locations in Europe, says ICE’s Ryan Coppola. “It has a small footprint, but remains a spectacular piece because of its lighting and graphics.”

The game has a 42ins monitor. The objective is to get four balls - out of the 24 supplied - in a row in four throws. This gives a mega bonus.

“When it ships it is plug-in and ready to play,” said Coppola. “The operators will like the sleek cabinet design that illustrates the theme of the game. It also comes with a stool to encourage repeat play.”

Shipwreck is the latest addition to ICE’s Carnival Series of games but it is not the only release announced this week.

The company is also now shipping its Dodgeball standard unit with its 1.7ft smaller width footprint compared with the Dodgeball de Luxe. The game is also 1.6ft shorter than its partner game.

The player throws at 14 pop-out targets with four bonus targets and two stationary hole score multipliers. It can be played in two modes – training, or multi-player competition mode. A high score is featured on the arena ‘Jumbotron’.

“This game has great audio,” said Coppola, “and, like Shipwreck, it is designed to fit any type of location, big or small. We feel that both are great family attractions, made for repeat play and will add value to any location.”
