Innovative Concepts in Entertainment had one of the larger booths at IAAPA Expo, which was just as well as eight new products took pride of place.

“Our development team has done a fantastic job with our new redemption title All In, as with everything we have here,” said sales and marketing manager Mark Veitengruber. “The reception to it has been equally as good. It can be linked to other units and together they can have an optional mega-marquee, which displays a progressive bonus.

Players pull the plunger and aim for the bonus value tickets, using their skill and touch to launch the puck, aiming for the ticket-win zones. If the player doesn’t manage this yet sees a red bar light up, they still win tickets, ensuring win-every-time gameplay. All In also incorporates the use of a 40ins high-definition LED screen that gives the player an instant replay on every shot, either confirming their win or showing them how much they missed the win by. The game also features an LED-lit puck using the same technology used in wireless charging mobile phones.

The Ice Cube crane has been an exclusive for Chuck E Cheese’s for the last two years but ICE is now releasing it to the wider market. The machine on the booth was filled with NFL branded balls, which are low cost-per item prizes as the machine is designed to reward players with a high win-ratio. The crane is also endowed with the UL global safety certification.

Tons of Tickets was at 2018’s IAAPA, but only in its prototype format. New this year is the completed version with a single marquee, which can be added to existing machines for added visual impact.

Basketball-themed Hoop It Up will be offered in two different versions: the full ticket redemption version as well as a unique ball merchandiser/ticket redemption version that allows for those players that hit the mega bonus to either receive tickets or win a unique ball.

A smaller version of Centipede Chaos, a stand-up example minus the stools of its bigger brother, was also unveiled. Featuring exactly the same gameplay but in a smaller footprint, the game uses a 40ins display as opposed to the previous 70ins model. Air Hockey tables were on show; the Air FX Micro and larger Extreme curved playfield product are a collaboration with Spanish manufacturer Billares Sam.

Snowball Toss is a smaller ball-toss game, similar to the company’s popular Down the Clown. Designed to appeal to wider demographic due to its smaller size and snowman design, it also features an LED marquee.

“Overall,” said Veitengruber, “this has been one of the biggest development years we’ve ever had. The development team at ICE has probably had its busiest 12 months ever, but the fact that all these new titles were ready for this show is testament to their hard work.” All of ICE’s new products are now shipping.
