A new FEC is opening in mid-November in Tallahassee, Florida, covering 45,000sq.ft with tenpin bowling as an anchor attraction.

District 850

Amusement Entertainment Management (AEM) is the consultancy behind the new District 850 FEC on the outskirts of the city. It is the first of four similar projects that the company is working on currently that should be released before the end of this year.

The developer at Tallahassee is Nilesh Patel and he chose AEM to head up the project, including the formulation of the business case, investment strategy and coordination plan.

The three-year undertaking included the construction of the facility from the ground up. The end-result is a venue for families, adults and corporate customers with private event, conference and lounge areas and premium dining.

AEM, headed by Jerry Merola, carries out all types of consulting work from initial feasibility studies through to turnkey completion and is an expert in FECs, having developed more than 400 venues in the past 25 years.
