On-site reaction from players for Sega’s Hoopla game is showing up in revenue reports, says the company’s general manager Justin Burke.

“They love the game and keep coming back for more. This is a long-term piece that will last in any FEC for years. The genre is timeless and allows players across all generations to play together; it provide fun on the day and memories to keep.”

The game, a joint Sega-ICE creation, is a winner of a Brass Ring Award at the last IAAPA show and is now finding its way into European and Middle East venues. Hit games like Down the Clown, Milk Jug Toss and Bean Bag Toss have been compared with Hoopla.

Players toss hoops and hope to hook them on all seven pegs before the time runs out, giving them a bonus round where they catch a moving lighted peg to win a big bonus.
