Adam Holm, from Canada, beat off the competition to earn $25,000 top prize at the Big Buck World Championship last month.
The top 128 Big Buck Hunters from the US, Canada and Australia convened in Chicago, Illinois, to take their shot at winning a share of $115,000, the largest prize pool in Big Buck World Championship history, and the title of Big Buck world champion.
The 16th annual edition of the competition took place at Joe’s Bar On Weed St. in the heart of Chicago on October 20 and 21. Players showed up in force, with 16,390 Pro Mode participants taking part, making it the largest single year of qualifying in the history of the event.
Preparations are already underway for the 2024 season. To qualify, players need only participate in Pro Mode, available at all online Big Buck Hunter cabinets around the world. Scores posted while playing in Pro Mode are automatically factored into players’ championship score cards.
