A new hierarchy has been introduced at US trade body, the American Amusement Machine Association, with Holly Hampton becoming president, the first woman to hold the role.

At its annual meeting in Chicago on October 2, AAMA's new board of directors was inaugurated, with Hampton - director of innovation at Bay Tek - appointed as president, succeeding Chris Felix.

The new vice-president is George Smith with Allen Weisberg as treasurer, Rich Babich as his assistant, Frank Cosentino as secretary and Bryan Aune as assistant.

Today (October 5) sees sponsor presentations with a keynote speech by Mahesh Sadarangani, senior vice president for strategic initiatives at Chuck E Cheese Entertainment, and culminates in the annual gala dinner and product preview.
