BANDAI NAMCO Amusement Europe continues to receive positive reports for Halo: Fireteam Raven and its Halo plush and gift ranges.

BNAE has exclusive rights to Halo: Fireteam Raven within the EMEA. The game was created by Play Mechanix and 343 Industries.

Yuhanis Nawasreh, sales director of Warehouse of Games in Dubai, said: “The four-player has been very successful in our region and remains the number one game in a number of locations here. We see that this game particularly appeals to the teen market that loves the Halo brand and the ability to link to Xbox Live accounts. We anticipate that this trend will extend to the two-player version, which is shipping now.”

James Anderson, commercial and sales director for BNAE, added: “The game was first released in an impressive four-player version with a stunning 130ins panoramic 4K display. Players loved the force-feedback guns and the fact that they could easily link their Xbox Live gamertag accounts via QR code for rewards.

“Many operators were eagerly awaiting the two-player version of the game, thanks to the incredible player feedback. We are seeing that this is outperforming all of the other new two-player shooting games launched this year. What’s more, it is competitively priced, giving an outstanding return on investment to operators. We believe it’s the stand-out video of the summer within the EMEA.”

The success of the Halo licence extends to the plush and gift ranges, which have been a success in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the US.

“Our range of plush comes in all sizes, with Master Chief being the most popular character,” said BNAE EMEA sales manager Darrell Simmonds. “Our range of gifts includes baseball caps, watches, key chains, mugs, stein glasses and stress balls. We have been very surprised with the high level of sales, although we knew the strength of the brand - sales have exceeded our expectations already.”
