The permanent showground on the outskirts of the city attracts an average of 42,000 people each day to its 90 pavilions from all over the world, with a host of entertainment attractions, including live shows, rides and experiences.

During its open period, it will entertain over seven million people to four main sections of the huge site: events and concerts, carnivals, food and shopping. It will run through until mid-April.

This year the management of the Village have instituted a wide range of plans to accommodate the UAE protocols on self-distancing and hygiene for the vast numbers of people attending.
