The largest FEC in south Florida opens on July 17, covering 95,000sq.ft at Fort Lauderdale.

Go-karting at Xtreme Action Park

The Xtreme Action Park contains go-karts, a ropes course, arcade room, bowling, café, ice cream parlour, following a full year of renovations, planning and redesigning.

There are also plans in place to add another 60,000 to 80,000sq.ft in the next year, which would make it the largest FEC in the US.

Co-owners David Goldfarb and Aaron Parkinson will be among the ribbon-cutters for the opening ceremony together with the Fort Lauderdale mayor and other local officials.

The go-kart track occupies 48,000sq.ft and is equipped with a fleet of petrol-driven Bowman Arrow karts that can reach a top speed of 45mph. The arcade covers 5,000sq.ft and contains over 100 games. There are 10 lanes of bowling, a sports bar and a ballroom for large events, plus children’s party rooms.
