GeWeTe has updated its Cash Center with a 27ins screen to give it “more presence in a gaming environment,” said sales manager Mark Edmundson.

GeWeTe spices up Cash Center

Internally, Edmundson said, it has exactly the same specifications as the classic Cash Center.

“But when you look are a show like ICE and you see all the machines, with their bells and whistles, you realise a machine needs to look the part to compete in that environment,” he added.

He said there isn’t a huge price difference, but the screen gives an operation the opportunity to put its own logos or advertising on the screen.

Ireland’s continued uncertainty with regards to gambling means that not many casino operators invest in cash handling technology, so “an updated model at a similar price will do well.”

As well as that, “there are still the bingo halls, bowling clubs, AGCs and FECs, so we’re not worried,” he said.
