The Covid-19 misery for the coin machine industry in Germany will continue through the Christmas and New Year period.
Bars, restaurants, arcades and leisure centres, that have all been closed since November, will stay closed right through the Christmas period, joined by all other non-essential shops.
The move by the German government is in face of peak levels of infections from the pandemic right across the country’s 16 states.
The new lockdown is set to begin on December 16 and last until January 10.
