The new Cen-Tex mini-golf location in Georgetown, Texas, US, has implemented cooling techniques to alleviate the effects of local hot summers on course players.

The 2.5 acres of land is tree-lined with native oaks to provide shade, along with cooling water features and obstacles that are challenging but encourage players to return.

It was all put together by Adventure Golf and Sports, using its modular mini-golf construction system to build a perfect environment for the central Texas venue. The modular system enabled the construction work to take into account the natural topography and fit in with the tree-lined land. It also permitted a greater degree of economy in not having to excavate.

The modular system works with using flexible, interlocking panels pre-cut to fit a design.
