General Touch's infrared MultiPro touch technology has achieved compatibility with Windows 7 and has met all the additional qualification testing requirements addressed by Microsoft for Windows 7 multi-touch interactivity.

Based on infrared technology, it accurately records two simultaneous touch locations anywhere on the screen with three physical axes of touch information, thereby overcoming potential drawbacks of multi-touch technologies, such as camera-based opticals that are subject to interferences from ambient light variances and false touches.

It is available from 42ins through to 52ins for digital signage and kiosk machines running Windows 7, enabling OEMs and design engineers to incorporate a multi-touch technology that is reliable and enhances the user experience.
