Thomas Niehenke has been appointed COO of Gauselmann Group in Germany, while Dieter Kuhlmann joins the board of directors.

Niehenke, who was previously active as a board member in the Spielothek division, will assume responsibility for the operating business of the entire Gauselmann Group and will act as the central board member alongside chief technology officer Werner Schroer and chief financial officer Ulrich Wuseke.

Through his new role he will also be predominantly supporting and aiding company chairman Paul Gauselmann.

Dieter Kuhlmann has joined the board as area director for the Spielothek division, of which he is extremely familiar with as long-standing managing director of sales and marketing at Merkur Spielothek. He will work alongside director Jurgen Stuhmeyer, who is responsible for the Merkur division.

The positions of the three shareholders, Paul, Michael and Armin Gauselmann, remain unchanged in the management board.
