The mixed approach to Covid-19 restrictions across the UK, with different levels of lockdowns in different parts of the four countries, is causing confusion.

It now appears that a national lockdown is being considered by the Scottish Parliament, after more regions were advanced to Level 3 of restrictions and it is not clear whether adult gaming centres are to remain open in the local areas affected. It is noted that bookmakers are current allowed to stay open with their machines.

In Wales there continues to be problems for adult gaming centres. The Welsh Government has confirmed that grants available to businesses ordered to close would not be available to AGCs.

Meanwhile, in England the map has a patchwork of areas with differing levels of closure. Currently in Tier 3 casinos and AGCs have to close.
