The chairman and CEO of US FEC chain GameWorks has been named the Gold winner in two categories of the CEO World Awards.

Philip N Kaplan was named CEO of the Year, Media and Entertainment and also earned the top spot in the Achievement in Management, Media and Entertainment category.

Both entries earned Kaplan and GameWorks recognition for successes relating to the Company's new trajectory since Kaplan's joining in the summer of 2018.

The annual CEO World Awards program recognises leadership, innovation, organisational performance, new products and services, CEO excellence studies, corporate social responsibility, and milestones from every major industry in the world.

Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2019 award winners. Winners will be honoured in San Francisco, US on October 28, 2019 during the annual SVUS Red Carpet Awards Ceremony Dinner attended by the finalists, winners, judges and industry peers.
