US-based FEC GameTime has completed the $1m remodel of its location in Tampa in the US state of Florida.

The location closed its doors on November 2 to begin the project and has recently held a "reopening weekend,” featuring discounted prices, to celebrate the completed work.

CEO Mike Abecassis explained that the improvements were necessary due to a slow decline in business. He said: “The entire centre is now new to any guest who hasn’t been there for a while and it is already having a great impact since completion.”

The renovation includes a new restaurant, sports bar, updated party rooms and an audio visual experience with over 65 TVs. Additional games have also been added to the location’s Mega Arcade, as well as four lanes of mini bowling.
