The circus-themed arcade bar concept, Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, is coming to Auckland, New Zealand.
Due to open in September at the Westfield Mall in the retail-heavy, upscale suburb of Newmarket, the new store in the Funlab-owned brand’s chain will offer contemporary arcade gaming with food and beverage options.
Video and redemption will sit alongside dodgems, bowling, carousels and other rides. An American-style diner will serve a range of burgers, hotdogs and fries, while a host of signature, extravagant, Instagrammable cocktails will be available for guests.
A Funlab spokesperson told website Newshub: “Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq is like nothing you've ever seen before. Think Cirque du Soleil meets Glastonbury. Mind-blowing decorations will lead through to an extensive range of activities for fun-loving Kiwis to partake in."
The site will be Funlab’s second outlet in the city, with its mini-golf brand, Holey Moley, having a presence in the city since 2018.
