UK-based manufacturer Instance Automatics has warned of a number of growing attacks on coin pushers in the UK.
According to the company’s Ian Eason, they have uncovered a fraud issue with two-pence pushers, that will also affect 10-pence pushers from 2012.
"A device is being used to pull coins from the deck of the machines without opening the glass," he told InterGame. "The worst thing about this is that it spoils the build up at the edge of the playfield, which in turn will put customers off from playing the machines."
To overcome this issue, Instance has developed a purpose made kit, which has been site tested for the last six months and is available for most pushers.
If you would like to view the fraud for yourself, please email Ian on [email protected] with your company details.
