A former casino in central Blackpool, England, will be turned into a retro amusement games centre, after a planning battle.

The arcade games venue will have over 200 top-name games from the 1980s, including Frogger, Sega Rally Championship and Kung-Fu Master, according to LancsLive.

It will be operated by The Arcade Club, that has locations already in nearby towns including Bury and Leeds. The company had difficulties in getting its plans through the local council’s approval system but now the former Sam Thai casino in Bloomfield Road will soon house a range of retro games.

The premises include a former bingo hall that has not been used for five years. It will be turned into the main arcade with bar and restaurant.
