A multi-activity entertainment centre in London, UK, that was heavily damaged by a flood has reponed after a £1.7m investment.

Sobell Leisure Centre, operated by GLL Better, was damaged by a flood in 2022, but has now reopened after a refurbishment from Airparx.

The venue now includes a trampoline and inflatable park featuring interactive challenges, the UK’s largest interactive Strike Arena, built in collaboration with Rugged Interactive and an interactive sports pitch. There is also a Zip Zag thrill ride and a soft play zone developed alongside The Play Company.

Daniel Billington, head of business development at Airparx, said: “This project is more than just a refurbishment; it’s a statement about the future of community leisure. Working in close collaboration with the needs and vision of GLL, we entrusted the support and expertise of The Play Company, Rugged Interactive, and Zip Zag, to create an inclusive and immersive family entertainment centre that encourages movement, interaction, and fun for every generation.”
