Merlin Entertainments has opened its Lego Discovery Center in Atlanta, the first in North America.
It features a giant Lego soft brick wall, a spaceship build and scan attraction and a Duplo park.
The $5m project to renovate and reimagine the Legoland attraction has taken seven months.
Jamica Butler, general manager at the venue, said: “Over the past few months, we've worked very hard to make the Lego Discovery Center Atlanta the ultimate adventure for families to play, explore, create and have fun together. We are thrilled to see the excited faces of families as they explore all the new experiences.”
The attraction opens with a Certified Autism Center distinction, which means that all employees will be highly trained to ensure that any visitors on the autism spectrum or with other sensory disorders can enjoy the best possible visit.
Covering more than 34,000sq.ft, the venue features 10 unique zones that allow guests to build adventures and experience interactive rides.
