The number of Magic Planet family entertainment centres in Oman will jump to five with the construction of the new US$116.8m shopping centre in the Omani city of Sohar.
The work is being carried out by Magic Planet parent company Majid Al Futtaim of the United Arab Emirates. City Centre Sohar will have 130 stores, a Carrefour hypermarket, a nine-screen VOX cinema, dining options and a Magic Planet.
Construction work will start in November and will be the latest in a string of MAF constructions over the border in Oman.
It has just upgraded the City Centre Qurum and City Centre Muscat, both of which have Magic Planets.
MAF is also bulding My City Centre Sur and the major Mall of Oman – again, both will have Magic Planets.
