Aristocrat Technologies will use the forthcoming FER-Interazar show in Madrid, Spain, from March 30 to April 1 to officially launch two new Type B games dedicated to the Spanish arcade market.

Mystic Mermaid and Wicked Winnings were previewed at the recent ICE exhibition in London and are now set to follow in the footsteps of current games, Big Red, Queen of the Nile and Dolphin Treasure, whose strong and steady performance is being recognised by an increasing number of operators as Aristocrat continues to build market share in the Spanish street sector.

Aristocrat arrives at FER-Interazar with game approvals in another jurisdiction, the Balearic Islands, extending the reach of its portfolio beyond the existing key territories of Madrid, Catalonia, Andalucia, Valencia, Aragon and País Vasco. Further approvals are also expected soon for Galicia.

Christian Colus, Aristocrat’s head of sales for southern Europe, commented: "Increased sales in the Spanish market are a direct result of current Aristocrat games performing very well over extended periods. Operators can now choose to expand their game portfolio as well as introduce new titles to their gaming floors. Furthermore, we now offer a four, six and eight-module multiplayer configuration incorporating any combination of our currently approved games."

He added: "The adoption of our unique video reel style, derived from casino floor game play, is proving popular both with players and with leading regional operator/distributors including Egasa, Comdibal2000 and Grupo Vid, with whom we continue to work closely on the development of exciting new concepts."
