Feiloli, the Taiwanese manufacturer of children's rides, redemption and vending machines, is planning to exhibit at the big IAAPA show in the US this year.

The company’s Abby Lu made this announcement at the GTI show last week. "At one time this show was the only one we attended, but now that 90 per cent of our sales are exports, we have to look further afield. We already exhibit at the DEAL show in Dubai."

The company is also concentrating on building up a global network of distributors. At the Taipei show Feiloli was introducing a lot of new products as well as new versions of older machines. The company, which was founded in 1986, now has 130 employees and its own research and development department.

It has a manufacturing plant in China and also co-operates with game maker ICE in the US. "The US and Europe are our best international markets," said Lu. "We also already have distributors in Italy, Greece and some other countries."
