After an eight-month lockdown, the iPlay Experience in Washington, US, has reopened.

Iplay Experience

The indoor play centre had only been open for a year when the lockdown started. Now the owners, Nathalia Tamasa and her family, have started again, but this time with the product of their ingenuity during the shut-out; they developed a ball pit sanitation device.

Kids throw the balls into a tube where they are processed through a UV light sanitiser and then blown back through the tubes into the pit. It is part of a rigorous sanitation protocol adopted by the location.

The 10,000sq.ft location has a three-storey playground and a VR experience.
