SWP specialist FatSpanner has teamed up with UK charity Breast Cancer Campaign to launch a new product, Dab For Life bingo.

Based on the company’s True Skill bingo SWP game, it has been adapted to work as a stand-alone game, with FatSpanner donating five per cent of the net revenue from the price per play to the charity.

The donation is entirely from the manufacturer’s share of the revenue and the company has guaranteed a minimum donation of £10,000 over the next two years, regardless of the success of the product.

The product was exhibited in prototype form at the recent Preview show held in London and represents a substantial undertaking over and above the usual development tasks.

According to FatSpanner there has been a lot of support work in terms of trademarks and associated patent applications as well as the process of establishing a relationship with Breast Cancer Campaign to make the concept a reality.

Test machines are going out this week to a variety of UK operators and FatSpanner has done its own provisional testing, which apparently produced some great performance figures.

Assuming test figures are as good as early indications suggest, Dab For Life bingo is expected to be selling by the new year.
