An English petting zoo is to be transformed into a family attraction by Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Bucklebury Farm

Pippa’s husband, James Matthews, bought the Berkshire-based Bucklebury Farm, reports the Mail on Sunday, and will redevelop the petting zoo and deer park into a fresh venue at a cost of £800,000.

An indoor play barn for children will be introduced, together with a café and farm shop. The couple have registered a company named Pippa’s Playground.

The site was bought by Matthews and business partner James Murray last year. It is estimated that the project will inject £2.3m into the local economy.
