Fantasy Entertainment has released hardware and printer upgrades to four of its popular photo booths - Sketch Express, Portrait Studio Colour, Portrait Studio Black and White and the Digital Portrait Easel, in order to extend the product life and maximise return on investment.
According to Steve White, general manager and vice president of sales, recent advances in computer and printer technology are the driving forces behind these upgrades. "Our Sketch and Portrait booths have been remarkably successful since their introduction and their customer appeal makes them very popular with operators around the world," he said.
"However, the changing technical landscape threatens the ongoing viability of these machines. Replacement components for these booths are becoming scarce and new printers need to connect via the USB port. Therefore our upgrade kits will migrate each booth to modern computer and printer technology that will significantly lower operational costs and extend their ability to generate profits."
Each upgrade kit includes a new computer CPU, USB-enabled printer, control panel buttons and the latest version of photo booth software. Individual components will vary by kit depending on the specific booth style and output.
To simplify the upgrade process Fantasy Entertainment has posted a web form on its website fantasyent.com that allows customers to register for each upgrade.
