In 2025, Canadian hospitality brand Bingemans owns and operates entertainment locations that offer a plethora of attractions, ranging from bowling to mini-golf to a water park. However, Waterloo’s leader in hospitality hasn’t always offered the vast array of options that it does today.
Over 86 years ago, Bingemans, owned at the time by Marshall Bingeman, opened its first ever business venture, a dairy and milk bar in Kitchener. Just over two decades later, in 1960, Bingemans opened its first entertainment option on its 180-acre plot of land, a water park, which is still in operation to this day. Although it is now more advanced and developed than when it opened almost 55 years ago.
