Expo 2020 will generate $17bn

The now-opened Expo 2020 event in Dubai, with millions of tourists expected between now and when it ends on March 31, 2022, will generate revenue of US$17bn.

The forecast figure comes from the UAE Government that sees the money flowing into bilateral business relations, strategic partnerships and regional expansion.

Dubai’s retail and entertainment venues are expecting to take a slice of that revenue as anticipated 25 million tourists from nearly 200 countries will flood into the city.
