A move to expand into night skiing and tubing, with new chairlifts, mountain biking trails and a zipline, is being made by an Arizona ski resort.


The Arizona Snowbowl operates in a three square-kilometre location in San Francisco Peaks, Arizona, US

It is hoped to boost visitors from 3,870 in 2018 to around 4,500 per day. The move has been challenged by native Americans as they regard the entire venture to be located on sacred ground and a long legal battle was recently undertaken over the ski resort in which the natives lost.
