The world of coin-op leisure will converge on Las Vegas later today as two shows for the industry opened simultaneously.
The Las Vegas Convention Center will play host to the G2E, the largest casino/gambling trade show in the world. Meanwhile, at the other end of the location, IAAPA, the largest international event for theme parks and coin machines, will open.
IAAPA runs for four days until Friday, while the casino event has a three-day run. It is estimated that over 45,000 professional from both sectors of the industry are in Las Vegas for the events, giving a boost to the city’s hotels, which have suffered recently.
The European Amusement and Gaming Expo organisers are also expected in town to run a reception for visiting trade people.
