The Euromat Summit was generally hailed a considerable success when it was held last week in Berlin, Germany.
Organised by the federation of European trade associations, the event was attended by 400 people from the industry, mainly from Germany. That was because Euromat partnered with the annual German domestic industry summit.
Nevertheless, there was a good turnout from the member nations of Euromat - it represents 13 countries, including the major AWP operating nations, Germany, Spain, the UK, Italy and the Netherlands.
While the German domestic market was a key issue, it was often debated in a breakout workshop while many other attendees took places at parallel seminars on other topics, which included innovation, cashless gaming and the role of technology. A full report on the conference will be published in the July issue of InterGame.
