Eurautomat, the Wimi group manufacturing company in Belgium, is to move to a new factory.
The company, based at Erembodegem, near Aalst, works from a total of 5,000 square meters at present, split between two locations, one containing manufacturing, administration, showrooms and some operations interests and the other housing research and development.
Work is now beginning on the new 6,000 square meter building which will bring all of these sections together under one roof, said managing director and CEO Ronny Desmet.
The new location is about 500 meters from the present main factory unit and should be ready for occupation at the end of next year.
