Hologram arcade machines are being introduced to the Middle East for the first time in Oman's capital, Muscat.

Australian firm Euclideon, which has been using the technology to produce similar platforms for wider business applications has moved into the production of redemption-style holographic game tables and rooms for arcades.

The first Holoverse “HEC” opened on the Gold Coast in Australia in 2016 and the next one will open its doors in the Avenues Mall in Muscat in partnership with the Muscat Overseas Group next month.

Euclideon says that there will be 10 games initially that will be similar in style to current traditional redemption titles. Prize points are won for playing the games that can be redeemed for a variety of collectible items. The games will initially be in English but the company says that it will eventually have all the games translated into Arabic.

Euclideon CEO Bruce Dell said that: “Right here in Australia all the major arcade chains have joined up to roll out hologram arcade machines next year.”
