Embed has reported a record demand for its debit card and POS systems in both the US and international markets.

In the quarter ended this September, the company has seen more than a 30 per cent increase in installed and contracted locations internationally with its market leading systems.

Several dozen locations were in the USA, including a system installation at Round One Entertainment in City of Industry, California, which is the first US location for the Japan-based 100+ store chain. The location features more than 300 wireless Embed Color-Glo HD swipers as part of its 70,000sq.ft floor plan.

Embed’s international growth also continues to accelerate with recent projects completed in Canada, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Israel, Syria, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the UAE.

Following the recent merger with Playsafe Monitoring in the UK, the Embed group now boasts more than 1,000 locations worldwide which are current users of its systems.
