CEO Renee Welsh and CTO Andy Welsh have relocated from Singapore to Embed’s EMEA HQ in Dubai, UAE, to deepen the company’s roots in the region.

To support the new regional vision, Rob McMenamin has joined Embed as the new EMEA general manager. He moves to Embed after 12 years at Middle Eastern developer Majid Al Futtaim, where he was the group’s director of leisure and entertainment.

It comes after CMO and chief growth officer Sara Paz and CXO and NASA region general manager Michael Lopez relocated from Singapore to Dallas, Texas, US, early last year.

Mike Hartgrove has joined as the new global director of customer experience to lead Embed’s support and training teams, while Michael Smith has taken on the role of global director of installation after 17 years of experience as a C-level executive in the health sciences industry.

Attention now turns to the year’s first trade shows, with Embed exhibiting at the upcoming IAAPA Middle East Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and IAAPI Expo in Mumbai, India, next month. From there, the company will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, US, for Amusement Expo International in March.
