The world's tallest building, the Burg Khalifa in Dubai, is having an Embed debit card system installed for the telescopes in its observation platform, called At The Top.
The telescopes work on an elapsed time basis and visitors to the observation deck can use credits on their Embed swipe card to buy time using the devices. There are 12 card readers installed at the location.
Embed’s resident chief in the Middle East, Luke McKimmie, said: "This will make it the world’s highest card system!" The system is about to be launched with a complete ticketing and card solution at the site.
