The entertainment will be marked by the Talisman, a sound and light spectacular to be held in the Star Atrium when the celebration is held from November 4-28. There will be big prizes won in the celebration, including three apartments from Emaar Properties.

During its 10 years the Dubai Mall has had 80m visitors in the last four years, making it the most popular and most visited lifestyle destination in the world. It has created 10,000 jobs in Dubai.

Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, CEO of Emaar Malls, added: “No mall, anywhere in the world, has contributed so much to a community, as The Dubai Mall has in just ten years. The record annual visitor footfall, robust sales and steadfast appeal as a family leisure destination highlights the industry standards that the mall has set. The remarkable contribution of The Dubai Mall owes to the trust and confidence of our local and international shoppers, our retail partners and our teams who have worked together tirelessly to ensure that The Dubai Mall is and remains worthy of the nation’s pride.

"Ten years is a short period - we are excited for the next ten and beyond, we will continue to build on our success and to position The Dubai Mall as the jewel in the crown of Premium Global Retail for generations to come.”

The mall contains the Dubai Aquarium, the VR Park, and KidZania. Other entertainments include the new Reel Cinemas Platinum Suites, Dolby Cinema, the region’s first fully immersive MX4D theatre and Guy Fieri’s Din-in cinema and kitchen restaurant concepts.
