Smart Industries has released what it considers could be "the self contained redemption product of the decade."

Due to be on show at the new Amusement Expo in Las Vegas next week, Easy Touchdown has grossed $2,314 on nickel play in its first 12 days in a local bar in West Des Moines.

Featuring a football sports theme it brings the best of three worlds together in one package - encompassing entertainment in the pusher, self contained redemption in the prizes and the database receipt system developed by Smart, to redeem them.

The game concept sees players play the pusher to win points/tickets. It has three different ways to win including two different jackpot features. After playing, players can collect points from the pusher using the receipt system built into the game. Essentially players can print a receipt similar to FEC ticket machines and can collect multiple receipts to redeem all of the points at one time for bigger prizes.

According to Smart, unlike any self contained merchandiser, each of the 11 prizes can be programmed to a different value. The player can then select the specific prize they want using the keypad built into the game.

Smart Industries commented that the game is designed to accommodate needs for new money expressed by operators in bar locations, bowling centres and so on. Bar operators in particular will now have a product that can fit the customers’ interest and keep them playing.
