Many of the big names in the amusements industry have committed so far for the EAG Online event on January 24-26.

Show director Martin Burlin confirmed to InterGame that the response had been "positive."

He said: “Like everybody across the world, we would like to meet and network together, enabling companies and their customers to view new products and plan for the future.

“Along with BACTA, our industry trade body, EAG is working together with the event trade body, to understand the safety precautions and regulations, to ensure everyone is kept safe from Covid-19. At this current time, and in the coming months, running trade shows over numerous days is not permitted. We will continue to maintain a close watch on this. As and when we get a positive and confirmed statement from the event industry that things are opening up with some normality, we will of course, ensure the opportunity of a live event is taken swiftly.

“EAG Online has been set up during this uncertain period to assist manufacturers and distributors to continue to connect with their clients and assist with promotion products, and offer the operator some value with a full seminar programme. We appreciate this does not fit with some manufacturers’/distributers’ strategy, but we are fully committed to delivering EAG Online to ensure networking opportunities are available to all until live events are up and running.”
