The official attendance figures from January’s EAG International Expo show a slight increase, the organisers have said.

EAG chairman Martin Burlin revealed that the 2013 edition of the show, which took place at London’s ExCeL centre, recorded 5,411 unique visitors, up from 5,333 the previous year.

“Including those attending more than one day this represents a total of over 7,000 visits, with an incredible 28 per cent attendance being international and visiting from more than 59 countries,” he said. “The statistics actually show the first day was busiest and busier than last year but what really counts, however, are the individual experiences of exhibitors and visitors. From what they are telling us, these have been overwhelmingly positive.

“Our first time exhibitors, including those targeting the attractions sector, also reported a successful show.”

A full report from the EAG International Expo will be included in the March issue of InterGame.
